Two People Died in a Fire in a Fuel Tanker on the Bishkek-Osh Highway

On January 25, 2026, at the 140th kilometer of the Bishkek-Osh highway in the Zhaiyl district of the Chui region, a fire occurred in a vehicle transporting fuel and lubricants, The Caspian Post informs, via AkiPress.

At 11:36 a.m., one unit from Fire Station No. 22 of the Zhaiyl District was dispatched to extinguish the fire.

The fire was completely extinguished at 2:44 p.m. Two people died as a result of the incident; their identities are being determined.

The road is open in both directions and traffic is not obstructed.
