EU Set to Push 19th Sanctions Package Against Russia Soon

The EU is expected to submit its 19th sanctions package against Russia to the European Council for approval as soon as September 19.

It remains unclear whether the sanctions package will be publicly presented immediately or first discussed among EU member states, The Caspian Post reports via Ukrainian media.

On September 18 in Brussels, European Commission officials declined to provide a specific date for the release of the new sanctions package but confirmed that it would be presented soon.
