Russian President Vladimir Putin criticized the United States and the West, accusing them of continuing to seek global domination.
"We see that the current US administration, basically the entire collective West, won’t let go of their need for global dominance," he said at a meeting of the Russian defense ministry’s board, The Caspian Post reports, citing Russian media.
According to the Russian leader, Washington and its allies "continue imposing on the world their so-called rules, which they change time and again as it suits them."
"But, in fact, there’s only one rule they stick to: that there are no rules for those who think they rule the world, those who proclaim themselves the anointed ones, even though they don’t even believe in God," Putin stressed.
"And they carry out hybrid wars and policies of containment against countries they don’t like, including against Russia," he added.
