Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has commenced a two-day visit to Finland, where he is set to meet with his Finnish counterpart, Elina Valtonen.
According to Turkish diplomatic sources, Fidan will hold a series of meetings during his stay in the Nordic country, The Caspian Post reports, citing Anadolu.
In addition to his meeting with Valtonen, whom he hosted in Antalya in May during an informal NATO foreign ministers’ gathering, Fidan is expected to meet Jussi Halla-aho, the speaker of the Finnish parliament.
As part of the visit, Fidan will deliver a speech at the Finnish parliament titled Türkiye-Finland Cooperation. He is also scheduled to engage with members of Finland’s Tatar community, an ethnic Turkic group residing in the country.
