A drone attack hit a passenger bus in the town of Shebekino in Russia's Belgorod Region, leaving five people dead and 23 others injured.

The victims reportedly include four women and one boy, The Caspian Post reports via Interfax.

All of the injured were taken to Shebekino District Hospital, where they are receiving medical treatment. Among the wounded is a 17-year-old teenager.

Acting governor of the Belgorod Region said that three of the injured are in critical condition.
