Drone attacks by Russia have targeted western Ukraine, hitting key infrastructure in Lutsk and Khmelnytskyi, including a terminal operated by Nova Poshta postal company.
Ukraine’s Air Force said Russia launched 339 drones overnight, roughly 200 of them Shahed-type long-range UAVs. Air defences intercepted 298 drones, but several bypassed the systems and struck 11 locations nationwide, The Caspian Post reports via Ukrainian media.
In Lutsk, residential and commercial buildings were damaged, and debris caused additional destruction. A Nova Poshta facility was struck, though all staff were unharmed.
In Khmelnytskyi, a fire broke out at a local enterprise, with emergency teams working to contain the blaze. No casualties have been confirmed so far.
Air raid alerts were issued across Kyiv and western regions as air defences remained on high alert. Authorities continue assessing damage and clearing debris while inspecting affected sites.
