Russian Drone Strikes Hit Homes Near Kyiv’s Bucha

Russian forces have carried out drone strikes on Ukraine’s Kyiv region, damaging residential areas in the Bucha district.

While eight private homes suffered broken windows, damaged roofs, and scarred facades, authorities confirmed no casualties. A vehicle was also hit as emergency crews moved quickly to assess the damage, The Caspian Post reports via Ukrainian media.

Residents whose properties were affected are receiving assistance, according to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, which again urged people to heed air-raid alerts and remain in shelters during attacks.

Across Ukraine, Russian forces launched 82 drones, including Shahed and Italmas models. Air defenses intercepted most of them, but 21 strike drones reached 13 locations, with debris reported in Kyiv, Zhytomyr, and Lviv.

In the capital, falling debris struck a 15-story residential building, damaging a wall on the technical floor. In Lviv, a downed drone landed on a playground near the Bandera monument. Rescue teams and police continue operations at all affected sites as assessments and cleanup efforts proceed.
