Azerbaijani Boxers Win European Championship Titles

Azerbaijani boxers won 2 gold and 2 silver medals at the U-17 European Boxing Championship in Keinbaum, Germany.

Gular Huseynova (48kg) grabbed gold after defeating Turkish Asmin Cabas. Gardash Rahimov (46kg) also secured the top spot on the podium after defeating Romania’s Birham-Pasa Iuseima, The Caspian Post reports, citing AZERTAC.

Shahin Aslanov (60kg) and Shukar Aliyev (75kg), won the silver medals of the European Championship.

The event brought together 382 athletes from 29 countries.
