Azerbaijani Wrestlers to Vie for Medals at U23 World Championships 2025

Azerbaijani athletes are preparing to make their mark at the U23 World Wrestling Championships, set to take place from October 20 to 27 in Novi Sad, Serbia.

The national team will be represented by a strong delegation of 27 wrestlers, including 10 in Greco-Roman, 10 in freestyle, and 7 female wrestlers, all vying for world titles and international recognition, The Caspian Post reports, citing the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation.

The event marks the final World Championship of the wrestling calendar, drawing approximately 700 competitors from around the globe to one of the sport’s premier stages.
