Kazakh athlete Aidana Kumartayeva earned a bronze medal at the Taekwondo World Championships held in Wuxi, China.

This marks the second medal for Kazakhstan’s national taekwondo team at the prestigious event, according to the country's National Olympic Committee, The Caspian Post reports, citing Kazakh media.

Aidana Kumartayeva (46 kg) secured the bronze medal after facing Türkiye’s Emine Gögebakan in the semifinals, where her opponent emerged victorious, leaving Kazakhstani to finish the championships in third place.
