Belarus to Send Humanitarian Assistance to Tajikistan

Belarus will provide humanitarian aid to Tajikistan, according to a resolution signed by Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin.

The Construction and Architecture Ministry, the Industry Ministry, the timber, woodworking, pulp and paper industry concern Bellesbumprom and the state concern for oil and chemistry Belneftekhim shall provide goods for the humanitarian aid, The Caspian Post reports citing BelTA.

The Transport Ministry and the Emergencies Ministry shall organize the delivery.

The humanitarian aid includes medical equipment for healthcare institutions and construction materials.

A reminder, several earthquakes hit several regions of Tajikistan on 13 April.

The resolution comes into force on the day of its adoption.
