A high-level delegation from Tajikistan, led by First Deputy Prime Minister Hokim Kholiqzoda, has visited several major food processing enterprises in Kyrgyzstan, expressing strong interest in importing dairy, confectionery, and halal meat products.
The delegation toured facilities of prominent companies, including Adal Azyk (brand “Toyboss”), Kulikovsky Confectionery House, Kant Sut (brand “Belaya Reka”), and Toro, The Caspian Post reports via Tajik media.
Tajik officials praised the advanced technological standards and export potential of these enterprises and highlighted Kyrgyz halal dairy, confectionery, and meat products as attractive imports.
Officials emphasized the importance of deepening cooperation in standardization, knowledge exchange, and the development of the halal industry, noting that such collaboration strengthens bilateral trade, enhances export capacity, and promotes economic integration between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
Adal Azyk (brand “Toyboss”) - Founded in 2012, produces sausages, sandwiches, and meat delicacies under the “Toyboss-Halal” label, certified halal and compliant with EAEU standards.
Kulikovsky Confectionery House - A family business established in 1991 in Bishkek, producing over 200 desserts and food products with Smart Frost technology. Holds ISO 22000 and Halal certifications.
Kant Sut (brand “Belaya Reka”) - Dairy producer since 1998, offering whole and fermented milk products and butter sourced from Chuy’s clean regions. Exports to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Russia; certified ISO 22000 and Halal.
Toro - Kyrgyzstan’s first specialized meat processing plant, producing fresh, chilled, and frozen meat and by-products using modern technologies.
The visit also included discussions on expanding economic cooperation, enhancing cross-border ties, and implementing joint energy and infrastructure projects. Kyrgyz First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev and Kholiqzoda reaffirmed commitments to increase bilateral trade to $500 million and reviewed the progress of the CASA-1000 project, a key regional energy initiative.
