Tajikistan Ambassador Holds Meeting with Türkiye’s Minister of Family

Tajikistan's Ambassador to Türkiye, Sodiq Imoni, met with Türkiye's Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Odemir Goktas, on July 29, according to the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan.

The parties discussed issues of exchanging experience and strengthening cooperation in the field of social protection of the population, The Caspian Post reports citing AKIpress.

The importance of family was noted. The Ambassador emphasized that during the independence of Tajikistan the status of women in society has been elevated, especially in the light of the policies related to women's social and sectoral activities.
