Chairman of Turkmen People’s Council Lays Wreath at Grave of Azerbaijani National Leader

Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty (People’s Council) of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has visited the Alley of Honors to pay his respects to Heydar Aliyev, the national leader and founding architect of modern independent Azerbaijan, and laid a commemorative wreath at his gravesite.

Chairman Berdimuhamedov also placed flowers at the grave of prominent ophthalmologist and academician Zarifa Aliyeva, The Caspian Post reports, citing local media.
