China has extended a warm invitation to talented young artists from Turkmenistan to take part in the international art event “The Most Beautiful Children’s Drawing in the World” scheduled for 2025 under the framework of the China-Europe Humanitarian Express project.
Organized by China’s Center for Humanitarian Exchanges with Foreign Countries of the Ministry of Education, in partnership with the editorial team of the magazine “Class and Beyond,” this large-scale initiative aims to build cultural bridges through art, The Caspian Post reports, citing Turkmen media.
Notably, the event will utilize the international logistics corridor provided by the China-Europe freight trains as a symbolic link between cultures.
The competition is open to children and youth aged 3 to 18 from countries along the China-Europe rail route. Participants are invited to submit works in a variety of genres, including painting, calligraphy, design, sculpture, and photography. The artwork should reflect themes such as “China-Europe Train,” “Images of the Silk Road,” “Dialogue of Civilizations,” “Shared Home,” and other culturally meaningful subjects.
Expert judges will select the best works for permanent display in a digital cloud exhibition hall, and outstanding pieces will have the chance to tour internationally, exhibited in cities along the China-Europe railway route, showcasing young talent to a global audience.
Participation in the project is completely free of charge, with no registration fees, and the event is guided by principles of charity and voluntariness.
Since its launch in 2016, “The Most Beautiful Children’s Drawing in the World” has brought together tens of thousands of young artists worldwide each year, promoting cultural exchange, strengthening humanitarian ties, and nurturing the creative abilities of the next generation.
