Russia, Turkmenistan to Strengthen Ties at Economic Commission Meeting in October

Russian Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ivan Volynkin has announced that the Russia-Turkmenistan Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation is scheduled to convene in Ashgabat in mid-October.

In a message commemorating Turkmenistan’s Independence Day, Volynkin emphasized the importance of maintaining the positive momentum in bilateral relations between the two nations, The Caspian Post informs via Turkmen media.

“Given the active engagement between our countries, sustaining the progress achieved is essential. The upcoming meeting of the Commission will be a vital step in this process,” he said.

The ambassador highlighted that this year has seen a significant increase in delegation exchanges, which has fostered mutual understanding on a wide range of issues. This cooperation reflects the shared positions of Moscow and Ashgabat on key international matters, strengthening their strategic partnership.

The mid-October meeting is expected to further enhance economic ties and deepen collaboration across various sectors between Russia and Turkmenistan.
