Turkmen Crews Conduct Repairs to Keep Oil Wells Operating

Repair teams from the Capital Repair Department of Nebitgazdüýpliabatlaýyş, part of Turkmenistan's Turkmennebit State Concern, are carrying out essential maintenance to ensure uninterrupted operation of the country’s largest oil wells.

Specialists perform underground and major repairs at key oil and gas fields, including Goturdepe, Barsagelmes, and Gamyshlyja, which supply the nation’s fuel and energy sector with hundreds of thousands of tons of oil and similar volumes of gas daily, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.

The work utilizes modern equipment, including the J-650 lifting rig with an 80-120 ton capacity. Flexible tubing is used to shorten repair times and increase well throughput, while installations clean deposits and flush sand blockages from the wellbore.

The Flexible Tubing Well Repair Workshop of Nebitgazdüýpliabatlaýyş plays a key role in maintaining production. Workshop head Abdulla Bayrammamadov was awarded Turkmenistan’s 30th Anniversary of Neutrality Medal for his contribution to efficient hydrocarbon production.
