Turkmen Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Dovletmyrat Seyitmammedov has met with Georgia’s State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Tea Akhvlediani to discuss the growing partnership between the two nations.
Both sides noted the active expansion of Turkmenistan-Georgia relations across key areas - including economy, transport, culture, and education, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.
Special attention was given to promoting civic equality and strengthening social inclusion within their respective societies.
Seyitmammedov also informed Akhvlediani about the humanitarian initiatives of the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, which supports vulnerable groups and promotes community welfare.
During the meeting, the officials discussed preparations for the upcoming International High-Level Forum to be held on December 12 in Ashgabat. The event will mark the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality and the International Year of Peace and Trust.
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to deepening dialogue and enhancing cooperation, emphasizing the importance of regular contacts and mutual understanding for the benefit of both nations.
