Turkmenistan and Italy are moving forward with plans to convene a high-level business forum aimed at boosting bilateral trade, investment, and industrial cooperation.
Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to Italy, Toyli Komekov, held a meeting with Adolfo Urso, Italy’s Minister for Enterprise and Made in Italy, to discuss final preparations for the event, which is scheduled to take place later this month in Italy, The Caspian Post informs via Kazakh media.
The upcoming forum is expected to bring together a wide range of stakeholders from both nations - including representatives of private enterprises, government institutions, financial bodies, and leading companies - to explore opportunities for economic collaboration and joint ventures.
Discussions during the meeting centered on the agenda and logistics of the event, with both sides underscoring its strategic importance in elevating bilateral economic ties. They also exchanged views on cooperation through international platforms and agreed to hold follow-up meetings involving key ministries and departments to further define areas of mutual interest.
At the conclusion of the talks, Komekov and Urso reaffirmed their commitment to advancing Turkmenistan-Italy relations and extended best wishes for the prosperity and continued development of both nations.
