Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has sent heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, and to the entire people of the country on the occasion of Armenia’s Independence Day.
Noting that the traditionally friendly relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Armenia are based on the principles of equality, mutual respect, and trust, the head of state expressed confidence that the bilateral cooperation established across various fields will continue developing and strengthening for the benefit of both peoples, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.
On this pleasant occasion, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov extended sincere wishes of good health and happiness to President Khachaturyan and Prime Minister Pashinyan, and wished peace, progress, and prosperity to all the people of the Republic of Armenia.
Armenia’s Independence Day is celebrated annually on September 21. The holiday commemorates the 1991 referendum in which the majority of the country’s citizens voted for independence from the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR).
