Turkmen Ministry Launches Mosque Project in Fuzuli as Special Gift to Azerbaijan

The Turkmen Ministry of Construction and Architecture has launched a tender for the design and construction of a mosque in Fuzuli, Azerbaijan.

The tender is being conducted in a quotation format, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.

Interested parties can submit their applications and proposals to the Ministry’s Department of Marketing and Foreign Economic Relations until September 22, 2025.

The mosque will be a gift from Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan. President Ilham Aliyev previously noted that the initiative was proposed by Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty (People’s Council) of Turkmenistan, during his official visit to Azerbaijan. An architectural sketch has already been completed, with plans to lay the foundation in the near future.
