Turkmen Travelers Among Top Visitors to Russia in 2025

In the first half of 2025, Turkmen travelers have emerged as one of the leading groups visiting Russia, ranking third among foreign tourists.

Russia welcomed a total of 629,000 foreign tourists between January and June 2025, representing a 7.6 per cent rise compared to the same period last year, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.

Among the leading countries sending visitors to Russia, Turkmenistan ranked third, with 26,600 tourists arriving during the first six months of the year.

Only China and Türkiye recorded higher numbers, with 317,800 and 30,800 tourist visits respectively.
