Turkmenistan Aligns Foreign Policy Priorities with Doha and Abu Dhabi

In a clear demonstration of its multi-vector diplomacy, Turkmenistan has intensified its engagement with key Gulf partners, holding high-level meetings with representatives from Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

In a meeting between Turkmen Deputy Foreign Minister Ahmet Gurbanov and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Qatar Hamad bin Rashid bin Hamad Al-Azbi, both sides discussed key issues on the bilateral agenda, The Caspian Post informs per Turkmen media.

The discussions highlighted the constructive nature of the cooperation and reaffirmed the mutual interest in expanding political, economic, cultural, and humanitarian ties.

On the same day, Turkmen Deputy Foreign Minister Mahri Bashimova held talks with Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates Ahmed Alhai Hamad Khamis Al-Hameli. The diplomats reviewed the current state of the Turkmenistan-UAE relations and outlined ways to further deepen cooperation, emphasizing the importance of maintaining regular political dialogue.

Both meetings served as a clear demonstration of Turkmenistan's multi-vector foreign policy and its commitment to strengthening friendly and mutually beneficial partnerships with key players in the Arab world.
