Ambassador of Turkmenistan Hemra Amannazarov has met with Jiří Kozák, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Czech Republic, to discuss joint efforts in preparation for the upcoming Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs), set to be held from August 5 to 8, 2025.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed current developments and exchanged views on priority areas of cooperation aimed at advancing the sustainable development goals (SDGs) for landlocked developing nations, The Caspian Post reports, citing Turkmen media.
Amannazarov and Kozák emphasized the importance of coordinated international engagement in overcoming the unique economic and geographic challenges these countries face. The discussions highlighted shared interest in enhancing multilateral cooperation in the lead-up to the global conference.
