Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov has met with India’s Ambassador to Turkmenistan, Bandaru Wilsonbabu, to discuss ways to deepen the Turkmenistan-India relations.
The diplomats exchanged views on cooperation across political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.
They also discussed organizing high-level state visits and meetings planned for this year, as well as potential reciprocal visits between the foreign ministries of Turkmenistan and India.
The meeting highlighted the importance of the Turkmen-Indian Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, and Technological Cooperation, with both sides emphasizing the need to hold its next session in the near future.
Officials also reviewed draft documents and agreements expected to be signed during upcoming visits and meetings, signaling continued efforts to strengthen bilateral ties.
