The event, aimed at strengthening cultural and spiritual ties between the two brotherly nations, quickly became a centerpiece of the festivities with highlights including traditional Turkmen cuisine, live music, and dance performances, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.
The opening ceremony attracted a distinguished audience, including deputy ministers of culture from both countries, Azerbaijani MPs, and representatives of the diplomatic community. Guests embraced the warmth and richness of Turkmen culture throughout the event.
A standout feature was the gastronomic section, where Turkmen chefs prepared signature dishes live, offering visitors an immersive culinary experience. Attendees watched with fascination as fragrant pilaf, pastries, and other Turkmen specialties were crafted and then eagerly tasted. The cooking demonstrations were widely photographed and shared, quickly becoming a social media highlight.
Following the pavilion’s inauguration, the celebrations moved to the stage, where audiences enjoyed a vibrant concert program featuring traditional dances, folk songs, and modern compositions performed by artists from both Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan.
