A powerful natural gas flow has been struck from a new well at the Khazarli field in Lebap province, Turkmenistan.
The well, drilled by the Marynebitgazgozleg expedition of the Turkmengeology state corporation, produces up to 120,000 cubic meters of natural gas per day, The Caspian Post reports via Turkmen media.
Named Khazarli-3, the new well is the first to yield gas at this field, highlighting new opportunities for Turkmenistan’s gas industry and strengthening the country’s energy production capabilities.
