Turkmenistan Surpasses Oil and Gas Production Targets in Early 2026

Turkmenistan is off to a strong start in 2026, exceeding its oil and gas production goals.

At a recent Cabinet meeting led by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Guvanch Agajanov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, revealed that Turkmennebit State Concern surpassed expectations: oil output reached 107.3% of planned levels, while refining operations hit 107.1%, The Caspian Post reports via Kazakh media.

Refined fuel production also surged: gasoline soared to 122.7% of plan, liquefied gas reached 119.7%, diesel fuel hit 106.4%, and lubricating oils reached 102.7%.

Natural and associated gas production topped 106.7%, reflecting robust performance across the energy sector.

The Turkmennebit State Concern, Turkmenistan’s state-owned oil company, oversees exploration, production, and processing of crude oil and gas condensate, playing a key role in the country’s energy industry.
