Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan Ink Treasury Cooperation Deal

The Azerbaijani State Treasury Agency and Uzbekistan’s Treasury Committee have formalized a memorandum aimed at mutual cooperation and experience sharing.

The agreement was signed during the annual plenary session of the Pempal Treasury Community of Practice (TCOP), convened in Tashkent, The Caspian Post informs via the Azerbaijani Finance Ministry.

Nazim Gasimzade, Director of Azerbaijan’s State Treasury Agency and Chair of the TCOP Executive Committee, underscored the importance of regional alliances and provided details on Azerbaijan’s ongoing efforts to digitally transform its treasury systems.

At the session, participants exchanged insights on international best practices, explored innovative solutions, and discussed pathways for expanding cooperation in public financial management.
