Baku has hosted the Second Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Youth Forum, bringing together students, activists, and government representatives from both countries.
The event served as a key platform for promoting youth diplomacy, joint projects, and cooperation initiatives, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.
Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan, Bahrom Ashrafkhanov, emphasized that “the close friendship and strategic partnership between the two countries are reflected in the active contacts of the younger generation.” He noted that expanding youth-focused programs lays a solid foundation for future bilateral cooperation.
Otabek Sobitov, Chairman of the Youth Parliament at Uzbekistan’s Legislative Chamber, highlighted that the forum aims to develop youth diplomacy, strengthen civil society cooperation, and promote joint initiatives supporting the strategic partnership between the nations.

The event coincided with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s participation in the II International Forum of Strategic Partners in Kazakhstan, highlighting the region’s broader focus on youth engagement and knowledge exchange.
