On the third day of a press tour in Uzbekistan, representatives of leading Azerbaijani media outlets have visited the Khiva Cluster LLC textile complex, a rapidly developing enterprise in the country’s textile sector.
The factory began operations in November 2023 and has quickly established itself as one of the most advanced textile producers in the Khiva district, The Caspian Post reports via local media.
The factory’s annual production capacity reaches up to 7,000 tons of yarn, 4,000 tons of knitted fabrics, and 10 million units of apparel and knitwear. With an export potential of around $15 million per year, the facility is expected to significantly contribute to Uzbekistan’s growing textile exports.
During the visit, Azerbaijani journalists were introduced to the factory’s modern production lines equipped with advanced machinery from Türkiye, Germany, and China. The cutting-edge equipment enables high productivity and ensures the production of quality goods that meet international standards.
The Khiva Cluster also highlighted its commitment to energy efficiency and sustainability. The factory utilizes an innovative heating system that repurposes hot water generated during the production process, while 60 kW solar panels installed on the roof provide renewable energy for daily operations.
The visit offered journalists an opportunity to learn more about Uzbekistan’s modern industrial development, as well as the country’s efforts to strengthen regional cooperation and export potential through high-tech, eco-friendly production.
