Uzbekistan harvested 6.1 million tons of grain and legumes between January and June 2025.
The Fergana region led the country in output, producing 776,600 tons. It was followed by Surkhandarya with 691,000 tons and Kashkadarya with 635,500 tons, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.
Significant harvests were also recorded in Samarkand (549,500 tons), Andijan (506,300 tons), and Jizzakh (478,300 tons). Production levels in Bukhara (464,200 tons), Tashkent (447,000 tons), and Khorezm (431,700 tons) further contributed to the overall yield.
Meanwhile, Namangan gathered 417,500 tons and Syrdarya 394,200 tons. The lowest production was observed in Navoi (212,000 tons) and the Republic of Karakalpakstan (137,600 tons).
