President of Bulgaria Arrives in Uzbekistan

At the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President Rumen Radev of the Republic of Bulgaria arrived in Uzbekistan on June 9 for an official visit.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov, and other senior officials welcomed the distinguished guest at Tashkent International Airport, The Caspian Post reports citing UzA.

The main events of the visit are scheduled for June 10.

According to the visit program, negotiations between the two countries’ leaders, as well as official and business events, are planned, with the signing of a package of bilateral agreements.

The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Bulgaria will discuss further development of mutually beneficial relations, including increasing trade volumes and establishing cooperation in the agro-industrial complex, pharmaceutical sector, extractive industry, digitalization, and expanding tourism and cultural-humanitarian exchanges.

The President of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, will also participate in the 4th Tashkent International Investment Forum.
