Turkmen President to Make State Visit to Uzbekistan Soon

At the invitation of Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhamedov will visit Uzbekistan on November 16-17 for high-level talks to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries.

The visit will include high-level talks aimed at expanding cooperation across key areas such as politics, trade and economy, transport, water and energy, as well as cultural and humanitarian collaboration, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.

During the visit, the leaders will attend the launch ceremony of the cross-border trade zone “Shavat-Dashoguz” and are expected to discuss pressing international and regional issues.

Following the meetings, both sides plan to adopt a Joint Statement and sign a package of bilateral agreements. In addition, President Berdimuhamedov will participate in the seventh Consultative Meeting of Central Asian Heads of State, further highlighting the ongoing commitment to regional cooperation.
