Uzbek Deputy FM, South Korean Ambassador Exchange Views on Joint Partnership

Uzbek Deputy Foreign Minister Bobur Usmanov has met with South Korean Ambassador to Uzbekistan Won Doyeon to discuss key bilateral issues and exchange views on the progress and future prospects of joint projects.

The discussions highlighted the commitment of both nations to strengthen cooperation and further develop their partnership across various sectors, The Caspian Post reports per Uzbek media.

Since establishing diplomatic ties in 1992, Uzbekistan and South Korea have developed a strong and multifaceted partnership. Over the past three decades, their cooperation has expanded across various sectors including trade, investment, technology, education, and culture. South Korea is one of Uzbekistan’s key economic partners in East Asia, with numerous joint ventures and infrastructure projects underway. Both countries continue deepening collaboration through regular high-level visits and dialogue, aiming to boost bilateral trade and foster people-to-people exchanges.
