Uzbek FM, EU Commissioner Eye Fresh Cooperation Push

Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov has met with EU Commissioner for International Partnerships Jozef Síkela to review the current state of Uzbekistan-EU relations and assess the pace of expanding cooperation.

Key topics included trade projects, the green transition, digitalization, enhanced transport and logistics connectivity, and support for human capital development, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.

Saidov stressed that both Tashkent and Brussels are committed to strengthening practical cooperation and advancing new mutually beneficial initiatives. He added that the two sides are ready to deepen their strategic dialogue and promote sustainable development projects aimed at boosting regional stability and economic growth.
