Uzbek FM Highlights Milestone in Central Asian Cooperation

Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov has emphasized a major step forward in regional ties as Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan completed the ratification of the Protocol to the Treaty on the Border Junction Point.

“Today marks a truly significant and positive milestone in the history of good-neighborly relations in Central Asia. Together with my distinguished colleagues from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, we exchanged the instruments of ratification of the Protocol to the Treaty on the Border Junction Point between our three countries. This important step is the result of constructive dialogue, mutual trust, and the shared commitment of our governments to strengthening peace, stability, and solidarity in the region. The completion of the ratification process demonstrates our collective ability to resolve sensitive issues through diplomacy, respect, and a forward-looking spirit," The Caspian Post informs via Saidov's message on X.
