Uzbekistan’s Minister of Construction, Housing and Communal Services, Sherzod Khidoyatov, has held a working meeting with his Kyrgyz counterpart, Nurdan Oruntaev, during which the two ministers discussed key issues such as reforms in the construction sector.
The meeting highlighted the growing partnership between the two neighboring countries, which both sides credited to the strategic vision and efforts of their respective presidents, The Caspian Post reports via local media.
They emphasized that Uzbekistan-Kyrgyzstan relations, grounded in mutual respect and brotherly ties, have entered a new and dynamic phase of development in recent years.
During the talks, the ministers exchanged views on the enhancement of legal and regulatory frameworks, the adoption of digital technologies, and the integrated development of urban and rural areas.
The Kyrgyz delegation expressed particular interest in Uzbekistan’s recent advancements in these areas and commended the country's practical experience and achievements. They voiced a strong desire to expand bilateral cooperation and learn from Uzbekistan’s approach.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both ministers agreed to maintain regular dialogue and promote the exchange of expertise, aiming to further strengthen collaboration between the two ministries in the years ahead.
