Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Laziz Kudratov has made an official working visit to Slovakia aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation and expanding industrial partnerships.
During his visit, Kudratov engaged in high-level discussions with Slovakia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Denisa Saková, as well as with Rastislav Podhorec, Chairman of Slovakia’s Exim Bank Board, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
The minister also met with executives from Slovakia’s leading industrial and investment firms.
The talks centered on practical measures to boost industrial collaboration and launch new joint production initiatives. Both sides highlighted priority sectors including mechanical engineering, metallurgy, agro-industry, energy, pharmaceuticals, environmental protection, transport, finance, and infrastructure development.
Following productive negotiations, Uzbekistan and Slovakia agreed to draft a joint “roadmap” to implement the agreed initiatives effectively. Furthermore, plans were set to hold an Uzbek-Slovak Business Forum in Uzbekistan this autumn, aimed at fostering direct business contacts and facilitating further cooperation.
