An expanded session of the Uzbek Senate Committee on International Relations, Foreign Economic Ties, Foreign Investments, and Tourism has been held in Tashkent, focusing on the report from Uzbekistan’s diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan and the prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation.
The session brought together senators, ministers, heads of relevant agencies, experts, and journalists, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek Senate.
Officials reviewed reports from Uzbekistan’s diplomatic missions in Azerbaijan, Russia, and Belarus, discussing strategies to enhance bilateral relations, attract foreign investment, expand exports and tourism, and implement “roadmaps” approved during recent high-level visits.
Committee members also emphasized the importance of identifying new foreign markets, establishing trade houses and warehouses abroad, and providing consular and legal support for Uzbek citizens temporarily residing overseas.
