Uzbekistan Enters High-Tech Cooling Era with Premier Electrotech Plant

A new high-tech air conditioner manufacturing plant, developed by Premier Electrotech, has officially commenced operations in the Eltech Industrial Technology Park in Ahangaran, marking a significant milestone in Uzbekistan’s industrial and technological development.

The modern facility spans 10 hectares, with more than 40,000 square meters dedicated to production, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.

Designed for large-scale output, the plant has a capacity to produce up to 300,000 air conditioning units annually under the Premier brand. The project has already attracted over $30 million in investment.

A key focus of the initiative is localization. Currently, 40 per cent of the production process is localized, with the goal of reaching 70 per cent within three years. The factory’s full-scale operation is expected to generate approximately 500 jobs, providing a boost to the local economy.

The project benefits from international expertise, with industry specialists from Italy and China contributing to its development. Premier Electrotech is also collaborating with renowned global manufacturers, including TCL, Aux, and Changhong, further enhancing the quality and competitiveness of its products.
