Uzbekistan Explores Japanese Innovation in Rehabilitation and Elderly Care

A working meeting has been held in Tashkent between the director of Uzbekistan’s National Agency for Social Protection and Dr. Shigemi Kitahara, head of Japan’s Kitahara International Hospital, to discuss new opportunities for cooperation in modern rehabilitation and day-care services.

During the talks, the two sides explored plans to develop day-care and rehabilitation centers in Uzbekistan using advanced Japanese technologies, The Caspian Post informs via Uzbek media.

Particular focus was placed on improving the skills of local specialists through training based on Japan’s cutting-edge methods.

Both parties emphasized that introducing science-based and innovative approaches into Uzbekistan’s rehabilitation system is a national priority.

An agreement was reached to gradually expand cooperation, launch joint training and practical programs for specialists, and develop shared initiatives aimed at improving the quality and efficiency of rehabilitation services across the country.
