President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree approving an international agreement between Uzbekistan and Italy on the mutual promotion and protection of investments.
The agreement, originally signed on May 29, 2025, in Samarkand during the official visit of Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, aims to strengthen economic cooperation and safeguard mutual investments between the two countries, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
Once the document enters into force, the Cabinet of Ministers and relevant ministries and agencies will oversee its implementation, ensuring that investors from both nations benefit from stable and transparent business conditions.
