Uzbek Deputy Foreign Minister Bobur Usmanov has met with Japan’s Ambassador Kenji Hirata to discuss the next phase of growing Uzbek-Japanese cooperation.
During the talks, the sides aligned their plans for upcoming bilateral and multilateral events, signaling deeper engagement in the months ahead, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
Ambassador Hirata reaffirmed Japan’s commitment to strengthening its strategic partnership with Uzbekistan. He highlighted Tokyo’s readiness to expand collaboration across key sectors - including trade, investment, energy, infrastructure, education, and culture - as both countries look to build a more dynamic and long-term partnership.
