Uzbekistan, Jordan Forge Stronger Ties in Education and Science

Senior officials from Uzbekistan and Jordan have met in Amman to discuss deepening collaboration in education and scientific research.

The meeting featured Bahromjon A’loev, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, and Shadi Al-Masadeh, First Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Jordan and Director of the Higher Education Council, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.

The discussions focused on implementing the “Roadmap” agreed upon during King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein’s state visit to Uzbekistan in August. Both sides emphasized enhancing bilateral cooperation in education and science, exploring initiatives such as student and faculty exchanges, joint research projects, and expanding academic partnerships.

The delegates reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and elevating educational cooperation to a new strategic level.

Also attending the meeting were Davronbek Maksudov, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs of Uzbekistan, and Muhammadalim Muhammadsidikov, Deputy Chairman of the Administration of Muslims of Uzbekistan, highlighting the broader cultural and educational cooperation between the two countries.
