Uzbekistan, Qatar Discuss Boosting Transport and Logistics Collaboration

Uzbek Transport Minister Ilkhom Makhkamov has recently met with Executive Chairman of Qatar’s Protocol Capital Group Ahmad Abdullah Al-Jufairi, where the Qatari firm expressed strong interest in investing in Uzbekistan’s transport and logistics infrastructure.

Both sides explored promising avenues for cooperation, emphasizing the development of transport networks and the adoption of advanced digital technologies to modernize the industry, The Caspian Post reports per Uzbek media.

The discussion also covered plans to expand Uzbekistan’s road network and examined various models for executing joint projects, including long-term partnerships aimed at sustainable growth in the sector.
