Uzbekistan’s Fergana region is deepening economic ties with China as officials push forward new investment, trade, and industrial cooperation projects with major Chinese companies and business groups.
A delegation led by Deputy Governor of the Fergana region Nuriddin Mamajonov visited China for a series of high-level meetings focused on expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation between the two sides, The Caspian Post reports via UzDaily.
During the visit, the parties discussed prospects for launching new investment projects, boosting industrial cooperation, and strengthening foreign trade links. Special attention was given to expanding partnerships with Chinese businesses in priority sectors of the economy.
