From August 7 to 8, Uzbekistan’s Samarkand city is hosting an international forum focused on the advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies across the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
The event is organized by Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Digital Technologies, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
Taking place at the Hilton Samarkand Regency, the forum gathers more than 100 top specialists, experts, IT executives, and industry leaders from Russia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.
The forum is designed to strengthen regional cooperation in AI, facilitate the development of unified policies and standards, promote joint innovation initiatives, and uncover new scientific and technological opportunities within the CIS.
The event is expected to conclude with the signing of agreements focused on experience sharing, collaborative projects, and coordinated AI policy efforts among the participating countries.
