Silk Avia has suspended a number of domestic flights to several cities in Uzbekistan for two months, The Caspian Post reports, citing Uzbek media.
According to the airline, several flights will be halted in September and October “due to technical reasons”:
• US753/754 Tashkent - Termez - Tashkent;
• US757/758 Tashkent - Termez - Tashkent;
• US501/502 Tashkent - Namangan - Tashkent;
• US801/802 Tashkent - Bukhara - Tashkent;
• US401/402 Tashkent - Fergana - Tashkent;
• US851/852 Tashkent - Navoi - Tashkent.
Passengers may either receive a full refund for previously purchased tickets or rebook them for other destinations operated by the airline, provided seats are available.
Silk Avia is a low-cost airline established by Uzbekistan Airports. It began operations on 25 April 2023. In October 2023, by presidential decree, the company was transferred into the structure of Uzbekistan Airways while retaining its brand name.
