Laziz Kudratov, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade, has met with Ahmad Al Jufairi, Executive Chairman of Protocol Capital Group, one of Qatar’s largest investment firms, where the Uzbek delegation highlighted the country’s favorable investment climate and introduced new project initiatives.
With assets exceeding $4 billion and a portfolio spanning over a thousand projects in 34 countries, Protocol Capital Group operates in sectors including real estate, oil and gas, construction materials and steel production, pharmaceuticals, water storage, and air cooling systems, The Caspian Post reports via Uzbek media.
Al Jufairi emphasized the strong potential for cooperation and expressed keen interest in investing in Uzbekistan’s energy, housing, transport, logistics, and IT sectors.
Both parties confirmed their intent to develop concrete proposals to promote sustainable growth, infrastructure advancement, and digital transformation in Uzbekistan.
